Halter Division Information

Rare Plastic Halter: ALL test run models and any special runs totaling 35 and fewer horses. Finish differences (gloss vs. matte) are not considered separate runs, so only editions where the glossy and matte combined are 35 and fewer will go in this division. Please note that GLC Performance Challenge models go in this division.

Non Plastic Rare Halter: ALL test and custom glazed china models and runs under 10.

Custom and Artist Resin classes: These are two separate divisions. They will be held concurrently with entries divided within the ring. For example, the judge will call CM/AR Arabians. The CMs will be put on one side of the ring, while ARs will be put on the other side of the ring. The judge will then judge them as two separate classes. Entries are 3 horses/class, so an entrant can have 3 CM Arabs and 3 AR Arabs.

Halter Classes:
1. ALL models that are not pure breeds or a registerable breed MUST go into the mixed breed class.
2. Half Arab/NSH is to include the following: Any HALF Arab cross that has a registry or is recognized as a breed, Morabs, Pintabians, Anglo-Arabs, and NSH. (All other horses with *partial* Arabian bloodlines show in Other Pure/Mixed.)
3. All Welsh Cobs and Welsh Ponies show in the Ponies classes.
4. Akhal Tekes show in the Other Light Breeds classes.
5. Spanish Mustangs show in the Mustang Classes.
6. The Hackney Ponies show in the Ponies classes.
7. Friesians show in the Other Sporthorse classes.
8. For the Non Plastic Rare division: * Please put any gaited horses into the Other Pure/Mixed Breeds class

Non-Realistic Classes: Non-realistic classes include woodgrain and decorator colors. These classes are judged on collectability, not breed, and will receive yellow NAN cards.

Performance Class Information
-The Other Miscellaneous performance class is for entries that do not fit into the Other English and Other Western performance classes. Champs are to be done by points, with consideration given to horses showing and placing in only one class.
Anything Goes Class Information

We will have an Anything Goes class at each show, be creative and enter!  (Offensive
entries will not be allowed.)

Directions to Show Locations

Huntley Park District
From I-90 (westbound)
Take 47 North.
Continue through three stoplights. You will see Deicke Park on your left. Immediately after the Park is Mill Street. Turn left on Mill. Go through 4-way stop, school is on your left. You will see a door near the number "12015" facing Mill, with an area for unloading. We are arranging to have those doors unlocked so you may unload there. Main entrance and parking is around the corner of the building.

From I-90 (eastbound - travelling from the west towards Chicago)
Route 47 is NOT accessible! Take the I-90 exit for Route 20 east (it's a ways west of Rt. 47). The intersection with Rt. 47 and Rt. 20 is also the intersection with Rt. 72, just to make things confusing. It's a 4-way stoplight, with a gas station (BP, I think) on the southwest corner, and a garden center and water tower on the southeast corner. Turn left to go north on Route 47 into Huntley. Mill Street is the last intersection before Main Street. Turn left on Mill. Go through 4-way stop, school is on your left. You will see a door near the number "12015" facing Mill, with an area for unloading. We are arranging to have those doors unlocked so you may unload there. Main entrance and parking is around the corner of the building.

From the North
Take 47 into Huntley.
Mill Street is the first intersection past Main Street. Turn right on Mill. Go through 4-way stop, school is on your left. You will see a door near the number "12015" facing Mill, with an area for unloading. We are arranging to have those doors unlocked so you may unload there. Main entrance and parking is around the corner of the building.

From the South
Take 47 into Huntley.

Tremont Community Center in Tremont, IL
From the north
Take either I-55 or I-39 to Bloomington and pick up I-74 to the west toward Peoria. Stay on I-74 (westbound) all the way to Morton. At Morton, pickup I-155 south toward Springfield. Exit I-155 south at Route 9 toward Pekin. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right at the stop sign, taking Route 9 west toward Pekin. Tremont is about 1 mile from I-155. At the intersection of Route 9 and Sampson, turn left (south) on Sampson. The Tremont Community Center is about 5 blocks south on Sampson.

From the south
Take I-55 north to Lincoln. At Lincoln, pickup I-155 north toward Peoria. Stay on I-155 north to Route 9. At bottom of the exit ramp, turn left at the stop sign, taking Route 9 west toward Pekin. Tremont is about 1 mile from I-155. At the intersection of Route 9 and Sampson, turn left (south) on Sampson. The Tremont Community Center is about 5 blocks south on Sampson.

From the east
Take I-74 west toward Peoria. Stay on I-74 (westbound) all the way to Morton. At Morton, pickup I-155 south toward Springfield. Exit I-155 south at Route 9 toward Pekin. At bottom of exit ramp, turn right at the stop sign, taking Route 9 west toward Pekin. Tremont is about 1 mile from I-155. At the intersection of Route 9 and Sampson, turn left (south) on Sampson. The Tremont Community Center is about 5 blocks south on Sampson.

From the west
Take I-74 toward Peoria. Outside of Peoria, take the bypass I-474 (south) toward the airport and Bartonville and Indianapolis, IN. Stay on I-474 all the way around Peoria (this will avoid the mega construction work on I-74 through Peoria), and pick up I-74 on the east side of Peoria. Stay on I-74 almost to Morton. Just west of Morton, you will want to take I-155 south toward Springfield. Exit I-155 south at Route 9 toward Pekin. At bottom of the exit ramp, turn right at the stop sign, taking Route 9 west toward Pekin. Tremont is about 1 mile from I-155. At the intersection of Route 9 and Sampson, turn left (south) on Sampson. The Tremont Community Center is about 5 blocks south on Sampson.

Hotels for Tremont: There is nothing in Tremont. The closest town with hotels south of Tremont is Lincoln. The closest accommodations would be in either Morton or East Peoria. Both would be accessed from I-74. The Tremont Community Center would be an easy 10 or 15 minute drive via I-74/I-155 from any of these hotels.
